The JC Whitney 100% Satisfaction Guarantee Promise Can’t be Beat

Because we know that our parts and accessories are as good or better than the ones that came on your vehicle and we are confident that you will be happy with any product you purchase from us, we are willing to offer the best guarantee in the business.   If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, just return the item for an exchange or refund.  Most items are covered under our guarantee for a full year, unheard of for automotive parts and accessories.  See our complete Guarantee for all the details.

Satisfaction Guarantee Details:

Most items we sell are covered for one full year by the JC Whitney Satisfaction Guarantee.   When these products are used for commercial vehicles, the Guarantee is generally 90 days.  There are a handful of exceptions, which are outlined below or on the product description pages.   Only the items listed below require that you call or email us first for a return authorization.  For any other item, just follow the simple return instructions on your packing slip or print a copy here.

Many of our manufacturer’s also offer generous extended warranties as noted in the product descriptions.  For a copy of any manufacturer warranty please contact our customer service department. 

We are unable to guarantee the life and performance of products:   when used for off-road, racing or other sporting activities,  if modified or used in a way other than the manufacturer’s original intent or if a product is damaged as the result of an accident or due to failure of another part.

Wheels and Tires:   All Wheels and Tires must be returned within 30 days in new and unused condition. A return authorization is required prior to returning just call 800-469-3894 for instructions.  Wheels and Tires may not be returned if they have been mounted, lug nuts have been installed or sustained any physical or appearance damage.  If you purchased a Tire and Wheel package that was pre-mounted for you, there will also be a $60 charge to dismount.  After the 30 day period or mounted the manufacturer’s warranty applies and you should contact the manufacturer directly.

Batteries:  New batteries can not be returned once acid has been added due to the hazardous nature.  Batteries are covered under generous manufacturer warranties as listed on the product pages.  If you have any difficulties, please contact our customer service department. 

Paintable Parts:  Once painted, parts cannot be returned.  Please make sure you test fit any part before painting so we can exchange it for the right part if it doesn’t fit. 

Custom Made and Special Orders:  Custom Made and Special order items can not be returned unless there is a defect in the product.  Please call us if you have a problem with any custom made or special order product so we can assist you. 

Engine and Transmissions:  Returns on new or remanufactured Engines and Transmissions will be accepted in new not installed condition if returned within 90 days of purchase.  These must be returned in the original crate and are subject to inspection and a 15% restocking fee.

Books, CDs and DVDs:  Books, CDs and DVDs can be returned up to 1 year if they are in their new unopened package and are still sold by JC Whitney.  Opened items cannot be returned.   

Electronics:  Please call before you return any electronic item to verify.  Once opened, electronics are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.  If you have lost your warranty, please contact the manufacturer directly for a copy. 

The JC Whitney Guarantee does not cover miscellaneous expenses including labor costs for removal and installation of a defective part, materials, lost time or wages, towing, lift, dock or storage fees. JC Whitney shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages including without limitation, indirect or special damages as a result of product defects.
